BLACK KITE at Strumpshaw late in the day, 5 Spoonbills still at Cley, at Titchwell - Spoonbill, 4 Cranes flew over, 15 Spotted Redshanks and the Camberwell beauty.

The highlight today was a butterfly, a rare migrant CAMBERWELL BEAUTY from scandanavia was present all day at Titchwell. Elsewhere 9 Spoonbills at Cley and a Red Kite over Little Snoring.

An interesting belated report of a Bridled or Sooty Tern past Cley on Sunday was even more interesting as a BRIDLED TERN was photographed in Northumberland yesterday. Apart from that standard summer fayre of Spoonbills at Cley, Weybourne & Titchwell a few red kites and a montagu's harrier at Tichwell.

A SUBALPINE WARBLER on blakeney point was the highlight today, also the 5 BLACK WINGED STILTS still at Titchwell, the welney bluethroat and a passage of 26 Manx Shearwaters passed Trimingham.

Titchwell hit the headlines today with a flock of 5 BLACK WINGED STILTS on the fresh marsh and a GULL BILLED TERN which flew over the reserve twice and was last seen at Holme, both very rare birds in the county. The Bluethroat is still at Welney
