Summary

Sandwiched between Holme & Titchwell, offers excellent salt marsh and creek habitat.

Location

  • TF727442
  • 52.967345, 0.570145

The car park at the end of Staithe lane offers an excellent view over the salt marsh. If high tide is in the afternoon and its winter time this can be a great place to spend the last few hours of daylight with waders pushed up into the creeks, lots of wildfowl and hunting and roosting birds of prey all on offer. You can also walk along the sea wall in a North west direction towards Holme, the sometimes fallow fields to the south can be good for larks, finches and buntings.

Target Species

In winter - wildfowl and birds of prey.
