This site close to Norwich can be very good in winter, in early 2010 the site held all 5 species of Grebe, Great Northern Diver, Smew, Gosander and Scaup. This was exceptional due to the extremely cold weather, but in normal years at least some of these birds may be present. It was also the site of Briatin's last Black and White Warbler in 1996, a warbler all the way from America!
