The watch point is situated about 1.5 miles east of Fulmodeston along the minor road towards Hindolveston. Birds of prey are the target here with Buzzards, Sparrowhawk, Marsh Harrier, Hobby (summer) and Kestrel being the usual species seen. If you are lucky you might see the Honey Buzzards which come to breed in the area every year. Possibly a Goshawk or Red Kite may also be seen. Warblers breed in the hedges around the car park and Lesser Whitethroat can often be heard singing.
