Situated west of the viallge of Pentney this site has undergone quite considerable development in recent years, new leisure chalets and homes pop up all the time. During the spring this site can be a good stopping off point for migrating Arctic Terns on their way north to breed. Also the scrub usually holds up to 4 Nightingales on territory and the lakes have breeding Little Ringed Plover
