Originally founded in 1962 and wardened full time, this small reserve almost entirely surrounded by the larger NWT reserve concentrates mainly on ringing. It is the only accredited Bird Observatory in Norfolk. They also run Redwell marsh situated along the entrance track which is good for passage waders in spring and autumn, you need a key for the hide though.
